This year, The IEEE Global Initiative for Ethical Considerations in Artificial Intelligence and Autonomous Systems has undertaken a global review of its first white paper, which includes information and recommendations concerning ethically aligned design. Workshops were held in Japan; New Jersey and California, USA; India; and Europe, ensuring a worldwide viewpoint would be reflected in the next iteration of this document.
Other events that included ethical considerations in artificial intelligence and autonomous systems have been held at the EU Parliament in Brussels, at The Hague, and in Austin, Texas, USA.
